If you want to sing high notes easily and better than ever before, you're in luck - this is the SIMPLEST and most practical way to learn how to sing high notes and actually apply them in real songs.
After all, you want to sing actual songs, right?
First up, we need to understand "what" a high note really is, and HOW a high note is produced.
In an overly basic sense, airflow through the vocal folds creates vibration, which then rings as resonance.
Simple, right?
Not exactly.
When you think of all the different words, different notes, different range and even different voices and styles you wish to sing - this becomes much more complex.
... Because a VOWEL is really a frequency too.
And here lies the age old conflict of interest for all singers;
The pitch you're singing is a frequency, and the vowel you're singing is ALSO a frequency derived from that same vibration of the vocal folds.
So what happens when you try to sing the same word at a higher pitch?
Your voice craps out - because there's a disparity between the frequency of your pitch, and the frequency of your vowel. You're literally asking for a sound that doesn't match the pitch you're trying to sing, and vice versa.
So, you either push the word trying to reach for the pitch, or, you lose the clarity of the word and vowel when you do actually find a sound that resonates on the pitch.
It's not ideal, right?
That's where these three simple tips to sing high notes easily - even BETTER than you ever imagined possible - come into play.
First up, the space in the back of your head, known as the pharynx, can/does actually change space depending on the sound and the range that you're singing in. Ergo, the first key is to sing BACKWARDS up into the back of the head instead of trying to push the sound desperately out of your mouth.
This allows you to sing a more natural variant of the vowel/word that you're trying to hit.
